Santiago Moreno
In 1990 he founded Santiago Moreno – Abogados .
Law Degree attained from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (CEU San Pablo).
In 1984, he attained an MBA Master Degree from the Instituto de Empresa.
In 1985, he attended the Course on Strategy, in an international environment. The London Business School gave the course.
In 1987, he attained the Diploma for Taxation awarded by the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica of the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI-ICADE).
He has held the post of Technical General Secretary in several business associations in the Gambling and Leisure sector in Spain.
For a number of years, he was a member of the Tax Committee of the Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales (CEOE).
He has actively participated with setting the regulating standards of the business sector of Gambling and Leisure, for both the State, and several Autonomous Regions.
He has formed a part of multiple negotiations, with representatives of the competent Administrations of matters regarding gambling issues.
He has drawn up numerous reports and regulatory projects, which have served as a reference about the regulatory modifications suggested by the different competent Administrations of matters regarding gambling issues, and by the different representatives of the Gambling and Leisure Sector.
He has prepared regulatory projects of standards on the subject of Gambling commissioned by different Public Administrations (the Autonomous Region of Aragón (DGA), the Autonomous Region of Galicia, the Republic of Chile, etc.).
He has written and published diverse articles for specialised publications of the Gambling and Leisure Sector.
He possesses wide experience as a barrister before the Adversarial-Administrative Jurisdiction and as a company legal-tax advisor, mainly involved with companies related to the business side of the Gambling and Leisure Sector.
He has been an active member of the Illustrious Bar Association of Madrid since 1985.
